Up The Creek 5K Race/Walk
This past Memorial Day, May 28, 201, there were 30+ runners and walkers, young and old, on the Up the Creek course
at the Shenvalee Golf Resort in New Market to have fun and try to win a medal.
Medals were awarded for the top three positions in 4 categories for male and female.
The runners were off at 0800 sharp and 21 minutes 34 seconds later Joe Rudman of the 40+ age group
finished first. Brittany Dyer was the first female finisher with a time of 21:51.
The run netted around $1,200 which will go towards several of our ongoing local community projects.
