20th Annual Krobath/Brownfield Benefit Golf Tournament

 

On Wednesday, September 3, 2025 the New Market Rotary Club will hold the 20th Annual Krobath/Brownfield Benefit Golf Tournament at the Shenvalee Golf Resort in New Market, Virginia.

The tournament is a captain's choice with four golfer teams. Registration begins at 11 am, Lunch from 11 am to 1 pm, with a shotgun start at 1 pm. Entry fee is $125 per golfer, $500 per 4 golfer team which includes Box Lunch, Golf, Carts, Snacks & 2 beverage tickets (beer if desired); Free Water, Soda & Sports Drinks, Four mulligans per player, Door Prizes, and Awards Banquet.

An Awards Banquet will immediately follow completion of the tournament.

All monies raised at the tournament are forwarded to charitable causes. Here’s a sample of how your generosity has made a difference this year:
   1.    Community Projects: We continue to invest in local initiatives
          that enhance our community, amounting to $5,000.
   2.   Education Funding: Scholarships totaling $3,000 are awarded to
          deserving students from two area high schools.
   3.    Healthcare Services: We’ve allocated funds for cancer research
          and treatment and other vital local health services, amounting to
          $6,000.
   4.   Disaster Relief: Through club contributions and member matches,
          we’ve provided over $3,000 in disaster relief, including for the
          LA fires.

We hope that you will support and join us this year to help us carry out our mission of “Service Above Self.”

This tournament is a benefit in memory of Lynda E.Krobath and Albert Ray Brownfield III. Both exemplified the spirit of Rotary in giving tirelessly of their time and talents in "Service Above Self" to our club, Community, Nation, and World.
